NEW YORK KNICKS HAS AGREED WITH THE $750 DEAL WITH.

According to Fred Katz of The Athletic, New York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley is drawing a lot of interest from teams looking to trade for him.
Immanuel Quickley has emerged as one of the Knicks’ most gifted players.
Quickley has continued to play excellently after having a breakout season in 2022–2023, which saw him place second in the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year competition. The 24-year-old is one of the most important players for the Knicks on both the offensive and defensive ends this season, averaging 15.0 points per game.
This past offseason, Quickley’s contract negotiations with the Knicks came to a standstill.
This past offseason, Quickley qualified for a contract extension offer from the Knicks. But the two parties were unable to come to a consensus, so after this season Quickley will be a restricted free agent.
Rival teams are becoming more interested in New York’s sixth man.
Since he can fit into a variety of lineups thanks to his impact and versatility on both sides of the court, opposing teams have started to show interest in the former Kentucky product. Furthermore, New York has limited negotiating power in the event of a possible trade for one of its essential players given the terms of its current contract with the Knicks.
According to preliminary reports, Quickley’s two potential trade partners are the San Antonio Spurs and the Orlando Magic. Next summer, both teams might have over $50 million to spend, giving them both plenty of opportunity to sign Quickley to a big deal. Furthermore, Quickley becomes a good fit for any team as he is looking for a starting opportunity and both have a clear need for a point guard.
The NBA is rife with rumors that the Knicks are interested in trading for a “star,” so if one were to become available this season, New York’s sixth man might be an important component of a big trade. Quickley is still a Knick for the time being, but as the season goes on, rival teams will undoubtedly keep an eye on things.
