The NFL Draft declaration of Drake Maye is complete!

Quarterback Drake Maye declared on Monday that he will be joining the 2024 NFL Draft following an incredible collegiate career with the North Carolina Tar Heels. The redshirt sophomore finished with 8,018 passing yards and 63 touchdowns in 30 career collegiate games.

Maye was named to the Second Team All-ACC earlier in December after his 2023 campaign saw him throw for 3,608 yards and 24 touchdowns. With an 8-4 record, the quarterback guided the Tar Heels to a spot in Duke’s Mayo Bowl, which is set for December 27.

Maye could be selected first overall in the NFL Draft.

Based on the current NFL standings, the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots would be tied for second place with 3-10 records, while the Carolina Panthers would have the top draft pick at No. 1 with a 1-12 record.
