In the final seconds, Tommy DeVito and the Giants overcome the Packers.
Joe Barry lets everyone down by allowing more than 200 rushing yards to be gained by his defense against another mediocre quarterback.

In short, the Packers’ performance against the Giants was appalling. Tommy DeVito, the team’s quarterback, completed more than 80 percent of his passes and ran for more than 70 yards on the ground while facing almost no pressure from the pass-rush unit. It was impossible not to lose steam over DeVito’s last drive, in which the Packers persisted in playing off coverage even though the Giants needed only a field goal to win.

When is head coach Matt LaFleur going to stop praising defensive coordinator Joe Barry? Barry’s defense forced turnovers to save the offense, which struggled for much of the game, but it’s difficult to argue that they were at their best following their performance on Monday night.

Green Bay needs to get back on track quickly because they will probably be without several receivers when they play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend. LaFleur may have to end the experiment if they don’t and Joe Barry ends up being the main character in the last four weeks of the season.
