In his transfer note, Odom stated, “I will be finishing my degree, graduating from the University of Florida, and walking this December.” “As many who have followed my journey know, I have had many ups and downs but one thing I know is I gave this University and team everything I had every time I stepped on the field, and will forever be grateful for what it has done for me.” Odom, who still has two seasons of eligibility, plans to enroll at Eastern Michigan as a graduate student. He is the third Florida player, after wide receiver Caleb Douglas (Texas Tech) and quarterback Max Brown (Charlotte), to announce a transfer destination this offseason.

Four scholarship tight ends are on Florida’s roster going into the 2024 offseason: redshirt freshmen Arlis Boardingham, Hayden Hansen, and true freshman Tony Livingston; senior Keon Zipperer redshirted the 2023 season due to a serious knee injury sustained during the spring.
