Welcome to Inside Nebraska’s National Signing Day! As the majority of every school’s recruiting class submits their National Letters of Intent today, the early signing period officially begins.

The early signing period is a three-day window that runs from Wednesday to Friday and has virtually replaced the traditional NSD in February. Beginning at 7 a.m. local time in their respective regions, high school recruits and transfers can formally welcome their fresh crop of talent to their programmes. This includes Nebraska football and the rest of the nation.

Matt Rhule, the head coach, will sign his second recruiting class at Nebraska.

The Huskers had one of their busiest and busiest early signing periods in recent memory last December, welcoming 11 first-time Huskers via the transfer portal on the first day of the signing period, along with the majority of their enormous 28-man high school/JUCO scholarship class.

There won’t be quite as much intensity this time. The most exciting time of the year was during the final week before NSD due to the constantly changing quarterback recruiting landscape for the Huskers.

Ultimately, they were able to acquire their quarterback of the future by signing the top prospect available: Dylan Raiola, a five-star player ranked No. 2 overall and the No.

This year’s NSD will still have some surprises and last-minute flips, even though it won’t be as intense as December 2022 because Nebraska is expected to sign 25 high school prospects in the Class of 2024, along with possibly one or two additions to the transfer portal.

From Rhule’s signing day presser, which begins at 11:30 a.m., onward, stay tuned to Inside Nebraska’s National Signing Day HQ page for the most up-to-date information. As each National Letter of Intent arrives at the Hawks Championship Centre and Nebraska prospects formally begin their Husker careers, we will keep you informed about signings, last-minute flips, and other updates.
