Nassir Little of Suns has been given an indefinitely suspension by.
Nassir Little: Prior to Book’s injury return, Nurkic’s field goal percentage was 39%. Nurkic’s FG% since Book’s return is approximately at 45%. His play hasn’t really surprised me; it’s been more or less what I expected. He is the person he is. His eagerness to fire the three without hesitation, though, startled me a little. He’s willing to let it go without hesitation. That about his game was unknown to me.
Nassir Given what Nurkic has done for the Suns thus far, I am not really surprised. I thought the player would be bigger, have a better basketball IQ, and be a decent passer, but he wouldn’t be as athletic as DA overall. That was my expectation going into the trade. Even though Nurkic has matured into a great player, I believe this still accurately describes him.
He can occasionally be played off the court against teams with more athletic players, but he has made some incredible offensive plays with his passing. He can definitely hold his own, but as the season goes on and the Big 3 play together, I think his effect will lessen. Since Metu’s rise has made it possible to use a three-man centre rotation, I actually think Nurk should be given a fast hook occasionally so he may play when two of the big three are resting and add another offensive facilitator.
Nassir He’s had the most steals and blocked shots on the squad! Given that the person isn’t a particularly good leaper, the blocks have come as a particularly surprise. But from what I’ve observed, he’s really skilled at timing his swats and anticipating the shots that are going to come. He lacks lateral quickness and foot speed as well, but his BBIQ makes him a better defender than I had anticipated.
This current run of games hasn’t had many truly outstanding contests. To begin the season, I kept pushing for KBD to start with him. And although I still think that, Little has really impressed me lately. He can attack closeouts, make open threes, and run the fastbreak quite effectively. In addition, he is among our top wing defenders. Vogel’s attempts to locate this guy minutes each night are admirable.
Nassir sad, I believe that Little will be the main factor in why the Suns “won” the DA deal in a few years. Considering how excellent GA has performed thus far, that is saying a lot. Little provides the Suns with a youthful athlete whose athleticism is astounding. Prior to the exchange, they had players who were mostly veterans who were good at their “role” but really did not project to much beyond that.
