Spurs’ Jeremy Sochan Named to Rising Stars Challenge – NBA Tracker.
Monday night at 7:30 p.m. ET, the San Antonio Spurs, led by Victor Wembanyama, will visit the city to play the Toronto Raptors.
For Toronto, TSN and TSN 1050 will broadcast. For San Antonio, the game will be called by 1200 New Radio and Bally Sports Southwest.
The 7-foot-4 Wembanyama, who has been outstanding for the Spurs this season, will be seen up close for the first time in Toronto. With an effective field goal percentage of 51.2%, the rookie Frenchman leads the league in blocks per game and averages 20.3 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks each game.
On Monday, expect Kelly Olynyk, Jakob Poeltl, and Barnes to alternately try to halt Wembanyama. Toronto can easily win this game against the third-worst squad in the NBA. Although the Raptors have occasionally had trouble competing against the worst teams in the NBA, a loss on Monday would be unacceptable. The Spurs don’t have many players who should worry Toronto, other from Wembanyama.
