Davante Adams’s representatives are hopeful that the NFL won’t impose a “major suspension” on their star wide receiver due to his shove of a photographer at Arrowhead Stadium.

Adams’ misdemeanour assault accusation was withdrawn by the prosecution, ending the case. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN on Sunday on SportsCenter, the wideout’s camp thinks that choice would eliminate the possibility of a lengthy suspension

:Adams is “getting a lot of mental reps with Jimmy Garoppolo” and “preparing for the season as he normally would,” according to Fowler.
In the fifth week of the 2022 season, the Raiders were defeated 30-29 by the Kansas City Chiefs. After the game, Adams shoved Park Zebley to the ground and headed to the locker room.

In May, Zebley filed a civil lawsuit against Adams and multiple other parties, alleging he suffered concussion-like symptoms and feared for his life. Dan Curry, Zebley’s attorney, also told USA Today’s Safid Deen that the 20-year-old was the subject of “hateful” comments online that prompted him to temporarily move.

Adams is entering his second season with the Raiders following his 2022 trade from the Green Bay Packers. He caught 100 passes for 1,516 yards and an NFL-best 14 touchdowns last year, earning his third straight first-team All-Pro nod.

The Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was charged on Wednesday morning after pushing Ryan Zebley to the ground in a “intentional, overt act that caused whiplash, headache, and possibly minor concussion,” according to the citation from the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department.
