Newcastle transfer rumors, talk, and gossip: In a setback to PSG’s hopes, Bruno Guimaraes is apparently house searching.

The Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is purchasing a new home in the Northeast, which is the clearest sign yet that he plans to stay at Newcastle for the upcoming campaign, according to The Telegraph.

In recent months, Guimaraes has been strongly linked to moves to Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain.

In addition, he has been photographed traveling to the French capital, where on a recent vacation he visited Disneyland, stoking rumors that he intends to go in the summer.

The 26-year-old’s contract includes a release clause of almost £100 million, but according to reports, no serious bidders have expressed interest at that amount, and there is growing hope he won’t go at the end of the season.

Any offer below the release clause will be turned down by Newcastle, and the same will apply to any summer bids made for star striker Alexander Isak.

Callum Wilson, a striker for Newcastle, has resumed training in advance of their last six Premier League games.

Wilson is aiming for a comeback as Newcastle’s pursuit of European football picks up steam. Wilson has been out of action for two months due to a pectoral injury that necessitated surgery.

Since suffering his injury in the latter moments of Newcastle’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest in February, the 31-year-old has not appeared for the club.

Wilson will be vying for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 squad this summer after scoring eight goals in just 11 games across all competitions this season.

Nevertheless, given Alexander Isak’s form—21 goals in all competitions—he might have trouble breaking through the Newcastle defense.

Newcastle has decided to bench Joe Willock until the conclusion of the campaign in an effort to help him heal from an Achilles injury that has plagued him all season.

The midfield player initially tore his Achilles before the season began, but he has since tried to return to duty twice and scored on each of his comeback attempts.

Willock has only made 14 appearances this season and has only scored two goals. In order to prevent more setbacks, it has been decided to let him rest until preseason.

Howe stated during his news conference on Friday that he will take a break, although he did not specify how long.

Willock is essential to Howe’s ambitions as his club fights for a spot in Europe next season, with 11 players currently out of the picture.
