Victor Wembanyama is out for how long? Spurs rookie’s ankle injury timeline, return date, and most recent information
One of the greatest rookie campaigns in NBA history is being had by Victor Wembanyama. However, the Spurs are still having trouble in the standings despite his skill. Worse, Wembanyama was recently sidelined by an injury that prevented him from playing for San Antonio. On March 5, Wembanyama sustained an ankle injury while the Spurs were traveling and losing to the Houston Rockets.
Don Harris of San Antonio reported that he left the game prior to halftime but came back in the second half after trying it during the intermission. Wembanyama has appeared in 56 of the Spurs’ 64 games this season, averaging in 28.8 minutes per game a league-high 20.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 3.4 blocks.
Wembanyama must be on the court for the Spurs to win games in the latter part of the season. Here’s what’s new regarding his injury.
