Just In: Harvey Barnes’s official absence from Newcastle United’s Premier League match today against Sheffield United has been disclosed.

Harvey Barnes, a winger for Newcastle United, is out of Monday night’s game against Chelsea due to a new injury.

Due to injury, Barnes has only made three Premier League starts for Newcastle since joining the team for £38 million from Leicester City. Due to a foot injury, the 26-year-old was out for more than four months before making a comeback to the field last month.

Barnes has suffered yet another setback to his injury after making just one start and a few substitute appearances. Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to be a major problem this time around. According to a club statement, Barnes’ injury is only “a minor hamstring injury.”

Two changes have been made to Eddie Howe’s team from their 3-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers last Saturday. As anticipated, Tino Livramento replaces Kieran Trippier at right back, and Miguel Almiron returns to the starting lineup, pushing Jacob Murphy to the bench. After costing £31 million to acquire from Southampton in the summer, Livramento is making his eighth Premier League start for Newcastle in this encounter.

In lieu of the injured Trippier, the 21-year-old entered the game as a substitute in last weekend’s 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers and went on to score the game’s winning goal in stoppage time. Due to a calf injury, Trippier has since been declared out till the end of the month.

On the bench, Matt Targett returns after four months out with a hamstring issue which required surgery.
