Texas Rangers Reunite Their Gang! The Whole Coaching Staff That Won the World Series Is Returning.

The promotion of longtime strength and conditioning coach Jose Vazquez is the only alteration to the Texas Rangers support staff.

In 2024, the entire coaching staff that won the World Series will rejoin the Texas Rangers.

The strength and conditioning team is the only member of the club’s support staff that has changed.

Jose Vazquez will take on a special assistant position in the player development division, replacing his longstanding position as head strength and conditioning coach. Since 2006, Vazquez has served as the team’s strength coach.

In 2024, Bruce Bochy, the manager of the Texas Rangers, and the whole coaching staff will be back.

Al Sandoval, who was Vazquez’s assistant, is moving on to become Triple-A Round Rock’s head strength and conditioning coach.

The Rangers have elevated Logan Frandsen to head strength and conditioning coach. He has served as the minor league strength and conditioning coordinator and assistant director of performance for the team. Wade Lamont, the strength and conditioning coach from Round Rock, has been promoted to big league assistant to Frandsen.

“Jose has significantly impacted our team,” stated Chris Young, general manager of the Rangers. “We’re extremely grateful for all he’s done and excited for the next chapter in Jose’s career and the impact he’ll continue to make.”

Bruce Bochy, the Rangers’ first-year manager, and his staff guided the team to its first World Series victory.

“I know Boch was very pleased with the staff he inherited as he came in,” said Young. “It’s a very talented staff; they all did a tremendous job.”
