Sean Taylor’s Daughter, Jackie, Had The Room In Tears Discussing Her Father…

Jackie Taylor, daughter of the late Sean Taylor—star of the Miami Hurricanes and Washington Redskins—moved the audience to tears as she reminisced about her father.

Sadly he will be missed

Sean Taylor, a prominent football player in the early 2000s, was known for his fierce style of play at the safety position. Tragically, he was killed during a home invasion in 2007 at the young age of 24, leaving Jackie, who is now 18, just a year and a half old at the time. She recently joined “The Pivot” podcast to share her memories of him.

Ryan Clark, Sean Taylor’s former teammate and current ESPN NFL analyst, spoke about the significance of Jackie Taylor carrying on her father’s legacy. “Seeing you speak for him and be there for him,” Clark remarked, emphasizing that among everyone in Sean’s life, Jackie is who he would have wanted representing him.

Jackie expressed her sense of duty in this role, stating, “I think that’s the biggest reason why I even do it. I know it would have been a no-brainer for him—if it wasn’t me, he’d wish it were.

” She reflected on the memories she lost by not being able to share the field with her father, saying, “That’s what hits me the most, all the memories and moments we could have shared.”

Sean Taylor played for the Miami Hurricanes from 2001 to 2003, racking up 188 tackles, 14 interceptions, and 26 pass breakups, and he was a unanimous All-American in 2003.
