Kyle Lowry of the Miami Heat is listed as doubtful for Monday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra commented, “We didn’t offer much resistance.” Lowry will not play due to soreness, but there is positive news regarding other injuries: Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro are set to return.

Here’s what to expect: the Minnesota Timberwolves (19-5) will face the Miami Heat (15-11) to kick off the week. Jimmy Butler secured a thrilling win for the Heat against the Chicago Bulls with a buzzer-beater on Saturday, while the Timberwolves have recently defeated the Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers.

Herro, who suffered an injury early in the season against the Memphis Grizzlies, is anticipated to make his comeback. Before his injury, he was averaging 22.3 points, 4.6 assists, and 1.4 steals and seemed on track for an All-Star selection. Adebayo, also an All-Star, is returning to the starting lineup after dealing with a hip contusion. He has faced this injury multiple times this season, but he’ll be back just in time to match up against Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns.

With the Timberwolves having a strong start this season, it’s an ideal time for both players to return.
