According to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, Paul and Wiggins, who have missed the Warriors’ last two games, took part in full contact practice and are expected to play, Kerr said.

Paul,38, sustained a contusion to his lower leg in their loss to the Sacramento Kings on November 28. After the first quarter, he departed and did not come back.

However, Wiggins suffered a freak accident where he slammed his right finger into a car door, resulting in soreness in that finger. He was coming off a 29-point game against the Kings, so the timing of the injury could not have been worse.

The Los Angeles Clippers were the opponent in the last two games that the Warriors split. On December 2, they blew a 22-point lead in the second half, allowing Paul George and the Clippers to win 113–112.

The Warriors are favorites to defeat the Trail Blazers, who are rebuilding, because Paul and Wiggins are expected to return. In their last ten games, both teams had a 3-7 record.
