Regarding Mark Andrews’ ankle injury, the Ravens coach makes a harsh announcement.
Following the team’s 34-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens John Harbaugh shared some unsettling news regarding Mark Andrews.
On the Ravens’ first drive of the Week 11 game, Andrews hurt his ankle. Before being declared ineligible for the match, he was first deemed uncertain to return.
Harbaugh disclosed that Andrews’ ankle injury was serious and would probably end the tight end’s season after the team won.
“Mark Andrews sustained a severe injury to his ankle. This appears to be a season-ending injury. We shall thus be praying for Mark. No one is more invested in the team than myself. therefore that will be difficult for him,” Harbaugh remarked.
Before departing the game, Andrews had two catches for twenty-three yards. With six receiving touchdowns, he led the team going into the game and was Baltimore’s second-leading receiver in terms of catches and yards.
After their victory, the Ravens improved to 8-3, two wins ahead of the Steelers and Browns, who are both at 6-3.
