“Preparing to leave” the club in a “record” transfer, the player may sign with Spurs
The “lion” of a defender for one team is reportedly getting set to go in January, and Tottenham Hotspur is a very real possibility.
Spurs are doing well without Kane.
Week by week, Ange Postecoglou is becoming a more and more well-liked man in the Spurs dugout. The 58-year-old has had an incredibly successful first season in north London, leading his team to eight victories out of a potential ten top division games. Without star striker and club record goalscorer Harry Kane, who joined Bayern Munich in the summer, it’s the finest start by a new manager in Premier League history.
Spurs’ dominant start to the new season has been reinforced by victories over Bournemouth, Man United, Burnley, Sheffield United, Liverpool, Luton Town, Fulham, and Crystal Palace. Kane recently expressed his happiness at his old club’s impressive start.
In response to Tottenham’s performance, Kane said, “I have made it clear my whole career that I am a Tottenham fan and I would love to see Tottenham do well,” during an England press conference.
It’s wonderful to see. I believe I’ve mentioned this before, but the manner they’re playing is really helping the manager. After the past few years, the squad has the support of the supporters, which is really required. I will always be watching the Premier League and Spurs. Tottenham is the only Premier League team that I would want to win.
“I have to show Bayern Munich some respect, and the fans are aware that I will always have a special place in my heart for Spurs. Naturally, I want [Tottenham] to succeed as much as possible, but right now, I’m focused on trying to help Bayern.”
The Lilywhites’ next game is against Chelsea on Monday, which presents a fantastic chance for Spurs to further hurt former boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Nelson is “preparing to leave” and might sign with the Spurs.
Tottenham has been playing quite well without Kane, but the north Londoners are rumored to be looking for other players to expand Postecoglou’s options at the back. Spurs are reportedly looking for a new defender in January because they lack talent behind Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven at center back. Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea is a player that Tottenham is considering, and Victor Nelsson of Galatasaray is another player that Tottenham wants to sign.
The Danish international is reportedly “preparing to leave” Galatasaray in January, with Spurs being a potential destination, according to Turkish daily Aksam. The two teams that have been mentioned as potential destinations for Nelsson, who appears certain to go in a “club-record” transfer, are Ajax and Arsenal.
Galatasaray board member Resit Omer Kukner referred to Nelsson, 25, as a “lion” in reference to his recent performances, even if the player’s future with the team is now far off.
