Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, makes an unexpected prediction about Rotherham United.
Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, thinks that just because a new manager has taken over, Rotherham United, their next opponent, won’t start playing like Manchester City.
On Friday night, the Whites will play their first game back after the international break against Rotherham United.
Having lost all four of their recent league games, Rotherham United is currently under pressure.
Manager Matt Taylor was fired following a 5-0 loss to Watford prior to the international break. Wayne Carlisle, an interim manager, will take over for the first time.
Even though Farke is cautious about the managerial change, he does not anticipate Rotherham United playing like Manchester City right away because the interim manager was previously the assistant.
Farke stated at a press conference, “It’s tricky because after a change because you expect different decisions in the line-up and formation and the new manager effect.”
Everyone wants to get their point across, and there’s always a little fresh air. However, the squad remains the same.
They have an assistant as their interim coach, so I don’t think they’ll start playing like Man City.
“You would prefer a more seamless preparation, but we will have to oppose that.”
Both teams, who are positioned at diametrically opposed ends of the Championship table, will be hoping for victories to further their own goals.

Illan Meslier, the goalkeeper for Leeds United, said he knew he would enjoy playing for the new Whites boss after his first week in charge under Daniel Farke.
The 23-year-old goalie had a challenging season with Leeds last year, and Sam Allardyce, the Whites’ manager at the time, dropped him.
Meslier has improved under new Leeds manager Farke. He has started in all 16 league games for the Yorkshire team and has kept six clean sheets.
Meslier said that Farke helped him feel like a part of the team and that, as the German tactician’s assistant, he had a major part to play for the Whites.
The French stopper emphasized that he could easily see how Farke wanted Leeds to play and that, following the former Norwich manager’s first week in charge, he would enjoy working with him.
We just needed to communicate on the field, and that was how I felt there, Meslier told Leeds Live. We didn’t need to talk a lot.
“I have a direct concern for the team, and I have a direct sense that I will play a significant and vital role there.
I found it easy to like Daniel’s approach and the way we wanted to play.
“Since the first week he arrived, I knew I would benefit greatly from his guidance.”
Meslier, who will be competing with Farke this season, was instrumental in helping Leeds win the Premier League during the 2019–20 campaign under Marcelo Bielsa.
