Odell Beckham Jr. explains why he believes the Ravens are contenders after their victory over LA.
On Sunday, your Los Angeles Chargers lose in another close game, despite what the scoreboard might indicate. With less than two minutes remaining, the 4-7 Bolts faced the 9-3 Baltimore Ravens and had a chance to take the lead or tie the game. Ultimately, they lost 20-10.
The Bolts were unable to overcome their lack of success in capitalizing on the numerous opportunities presented to them by the Baltimore Ravens. Rather, the Bolts suffer their third straight defeat as their chances of making the playoffs gradually dwindle. Even though the Bolts defense had their best performance in a while, it wasn’t enough. At the end of the day, the Chargers’ loss and the Ravens’ victory will be recorded in the record books.
Odell Beckham Jr., a former All-Pro wide receiver for the Ravens and pass catcher, said after the game that they felt this victory proved they are the contenders they thought they were.
Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. of the Ravens stated, “The biggest thing is championship teams are built on great defense and defensive teams making those stops and covering for the offense.” “That’s what I feel like happened [Sunday].”
We were able to observe the Ravens defense up close, and it looks to be legitimate. That side of the ball held Justin Herbert to 29 for 44, 217 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, making the Bolts and Herbert look insignificant.
In sixty minutes, the Chargers offense managed just one touchdown, which was scored in the fourth quarter. Even though the Bolts’ defense did its best to contain the Baltimore offense, the Ravens’ offense and defense are real this year.
It stinks to say, but the Chargers ultimately fell short against a superior team, given the optimism that many had for this team when the season began.
