What a catch and score for the lone touchdown of the game by tight end MyCole Pruitt. In the second quarter, with the Falcons trailing 2-0, Pruitt set up quarterback Desmond Ridder for a pass that made the score 6-2. From then on, the Falcons would not give up the lead.
Safety Jessie Bates has five interceptions this season, a new career high. With the Atlanta offense once more stalling out frequently, every possession presented a chance to add some difficult-to-come-by points to the score. After quarterback Tim Boyle mishandled a pass, Bates made a play to deny Atlanta another offensive opportunity.
