INJURY NEWS: WORRIORS STAR PLAYER SUFFER KNEE INJURY BLOW……

Steve Kerr Shares Important Warriors Injury News Before the Blazers Game.

Following practice on Tuesday, Steve Kerr, the coach of the Golden State Warriors, disclosed that Andrew Wiggins and Chris Paul are getting ready to make their comeback against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

According to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, Paul and Wiggins, who have missed the Warriors’ last two games, took part in full contact practice and are expected to play, Kerr said.

Paul,38, sustained a contusion to his lower leg in their loss to the Sacramento Kings on November 28. After the first quarter, he departed and did not come back.

However, Wiggins suffered a freak accident where he slammed his right finger into a car door, resulting in soreness in that finger. He was coming off a 29-point game against the Kings, so the timing of the injury could not have been worse.

The Los Angeles Clippers were the opponent in the last two games that the Warriors split. On December 2, they blew a 22-point lead in the second half, allowing Paul George and the Clippers to win 113–112.

The Warriors are favorites to defeat the Trail Blazers, who are rebuilding, because Paul and Wiggins are expected to return. In their last ten games, both teams had a 3-7 record.

Andrew Wiggins for Bill Simmons Bats Traded to Toronto
Bill Simmons of The Ringer floated a trade proposal that would send Wiggins back to Canada in a two-for-one exchange for Pascal Siakam.

On his podcast, Simmons stated, “[Andrew] Wiggins and [Jonathan] Kuminga for [Pascal] Siakam.” “Who refuses?”

One of the best players in Canada, Wiggins, can start over at home after upsetting some people in the Warriors organization.

Kuminga will get the opportunity to develop alongside former Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes and make a connection with Masai Ujiri, the African-American president of the Toronto Raptors.

Siakam might provide the Warriors with a more reliable, rangy forward than Wiggins because of his versatility. Given that his next contract is on the line, the two-time All-Star is even more driven to perform well this season.

If the Warriors can get past this difficult stretch, they might consider keeping Paul on for the remainder of the season, according to Michael Scotto of Hoopshype.

According to league sources who spoke with HoopsHype, “Golden State has been pleased with Paul’s production and fit with the team and is open to keeping him beyond this season for the right price.” Scotto wrote.
