Keenan Pili is no longer available. Despite being expected to play a major role in this defense, Pili has only appeared in two games since getting hurt against Austin Peay. This season, he is expected to return, but it will probably take him a few more weeks to be fully recovered.
OUT is DeSean Bishop. Although Bishop, a true freshman running back, hasn’t played much this season, he hasn’t been declared out for the year either.
AWAY FOR THE SEASON IS Kamal Hadden. Hadden suffered an upper-body injury against Alabama that required season-ending surgery earlier this week.
The season is over for Bru McCoy. Following the South Carolina game, McCoy had ankle surgery, and he will miss the remainder of the campaign.

OUT FOR THE SEASON is Tyree Weathersby. During preseason camp, Weathersby showed signs of improvement and was expected to play as a true freshman. However, he will wear a redshirt this year due to an injury sustained during camp.
Christian Charles is currently out of season. Charles will miss the remainder of the Vols season due to Achilles surgery he had earlier this month.
Kwauze Garland: THE SEASON IS OVER. Garland was ruled out of the preseason due to an upper-body injury he sustained against Ball State in 2022, from which he is still recovering.
