The NFL season has officially begun with the head coach speech.
A few of your favorite former Texas Longhorns athletes’ careers are also in this category.
Let’s analyze the most current NFL regular season 2023 performances.
Bijan Robinson, RB: Robinson, who the Atlanta Falcons selected in the first round of the NFL Draft last spring, had a day with 18 carries for 52 yards and 3 receptions for 26 yards. As Atlanta nears the end of the regular season, Robinson’s usage has fluctuated throughout his rookie campaign. Right now, it’s still up. That appears to remain the case as Robinson establishes himself as one of the best running backs in the world.
Lil’Jordan Humphrey, wide receiver: The Denver Broncos wide receiver scored 12 yards on one reception.
Geoff Swaim, TE: Once again, the tight end for the Arizona Cardinals was the starter this week. He had two 10-yard receptions.
TE Andrew Beck: The former Longhorn, a kind of big man gadget, once again started at fullback for the Houston Texans. For five yards, he recorded one reception.
Connor Williams, offensive lineman: The Miami Dolphins player began his career at center.
Malcolm Roach, D.L. Ultimately, the large Roach had yet another incredible day. Three tackles, one solo, were recorded by the defensive lineman for the New Orleans Saints.
Charles Omenihu, DE: The starting defensive lineman for the Kansas City Chiefs recorded three stops, including one solo stop, one tackle for loss, one sack, and one quarterback hit. Omenihu continues to be a formidable opponent for the Chiefs’ offensive line.
Ta’Quan Graham, DL: With three tackles (one solo), the starting defensive lineman for the Atlanta Falcons
Quandre Diggs, Database: The Seattle Seahawks had an outstanding performance over the weekend, starting at safety. He finished the day with six tackles, four of which were solo.
PJ Locke, DB: The starting safety for the Denver Broncos recorded eight tackles—six solo—one sack, and one quarterback hurry. It was Locke’s attempt to build on his outstanding performance from the previous week. Locke should continue to contribute for the Broncos during the remainder of the regular season.
DeShon Elliott, Database: Over the weekend, the safety for the Miami Dolphins started. The veteran secondary player finished the outing with three tackles, one of which was solo.
D’Shawn Jamison, DB: The defensive back for the Carolina Panthers recorded one solo tackle.
Safety Brandon Jones of the Miami Dolphins started five tackles, four of which were solo.
Cameron Dicker, K: Known by many as “Dicker the Kicker,” the Los Angeles Chargers running back completed a perfect 2-for-2 game with a long of 38 yards.
