A veteran tight end who declared two weeks ago that he was going to use the NCAA transfer portal has Tennessee in the running for his services. He now intends to pay the Vols a visit in the upcoming days.

Redshirt sophomore tight end Bauer Sharp of Southeastern Louisiana informed GoVols247 on Wednesday night that first-year Tennessee tight ends coach Alec Abeln had offered him a scholarship on Tuesday. According to Sharp, the Vols will now officially welcome him on a visitation the weekend of December 15.

The five-star top-offensive lineman in the 2024 class shocked everyone by announcing his commitment on the Undisputed show on FOX, which featured Michael Irvin, Skip Bayless, and Keeshawn Johnson.

Colorado was ranked among Seaton’s top seven schools at first, but after he published his top six rankings, the state surged. In an interview that went viral on social media prior to Colorado’s removal, he attacked the goals that some schools had in their recruitment pitches, particularly those with losing records and talk of winning national titles. Colorado’s 2023 record was 4-8.

Seaton intends to be a Buff for the upcoming season, regardless of the interview, and X responded appropriately. Over the course of five hours, the names “Jordan Seaton” and “Seaton” appeared on X’s trending page, peaking at number 10.

The commitment was noticed by others besides celebrities. A few targets from Colorado also offered their thoughts on the pledge.

LaMason Waller lll, a four-star wide receiver in the class of 2025, visited in November and has an offer from Colorado. Additionally, he retweeted Seaton’s commitment video.

Senior offensive lineman Reuben Unije, who is visiting Boulder this weekend, registered on the transfer portal from Houston and expressed interest in the Buffaloes. This remark was made at the announcement that his Houston teammate had received an offer from Colorado, not long after the commitment.

The staff at Seaton, Colorado goes above and beyond the call of duty, despite the average recruit rating of 90.88. Players using the transfer portal have increased daily since it opened on December 4. The Buffs have been looking for offensive linemen, and with Seaton, they have their first piece going forward.
