QB Jordan Love of the Packers tweets about his “easy” schedule.

Jordan Love, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, appears to have communicated with his teammates prior to a purportedly “easy” run of games, which starts with “Monday Night Football” against the 4-8 New York Giants.

As reported by Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk, Love stated at a press conference, “We don’t doubt anybody or take a game off or anything like that.” “We treat each other with dignity and focus on each game individually. Our weekly goal is to simply concentrate and succeed.”

After starting the season 2–5, the Packers have won four out of five, including three in a row, to move up to 6–6. As of Friday afternoon, the ESPN Football Power Index gave the Packers a 66.9% chance to qualify for the playoffs. Green Bay comes into the weekend as the wild-card team.

The Packers’ opponents after Week 14 are the Minnesota Vikings (6-6), Chicago Bears (4-8), Carolina Panthers (1-11), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7). Love said he and his teammates are just thinking about the game against the Giants.

Love went on, “We don’t need a reminder at all. “We are aware of our position. For us, every game is like a playoff game. We are aware that mentality is necessary—we must prevail. Thus, there’s no need to remind this team of that.”

Many in the NFL community, including analysts, have become believers in Love’s play since the beginning of Week 9. Love’s play is a major factor in the high expectations placed on the Packers to win at least four of their remaining five games and advance to the playoffs. Early on Friday afternoon, oddschecker had Green Bay as a 6.5-point road favorite against the Giants, who will be starting quarterback Tommy DeVito, a popular undrafted rookie.

Love remarked, “I’m not sure if guys even notice that,” in reference to the betting lines. It goes without saying that we have no control over that. We simply pay attention to who we have this week. We don’t consider things like who the underdog is. We only think about winning when we go out.”
