BOSTON CELTICS HAS FINALLY OWNED THE RACE BY SIGNING.
After making roster changes during the offseason, the Boston Celtics appear to be a strong contender to win the NBA Championship this year.
Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday were acquired by the Celtics through daring trades, and they have blended in remarkably well with the team’s other players.
Boston is currently 16-5 and leads the Eastern Conference, a feat that is impressive in its own right.
However, there’s a long way to go before the players and fans can feel comfortable with where they currently stack up against the rest of the league.
Fortunately, the Celtics are seeing another strong start to the season from Jayson Tatum who remains one of the game’s most complete offensive players.
Tatum, who is virtually a lock to play in this year’s All-Star Game, offered some advice on the Point Forward podcast regarding how to increase interest in the game.
When Andre Iguodala asks Tatum what he would do differently at the beginning of the video, the Celtics star explains that he would start by switching the format of the All-Star game back to East-West.
Tatum added that he believed the game could start earlier and that the player introductions and halftime could be shortened.
Tatum, who has now made multiple All-Star teams, raises valid points, and the NBA would be smart to implement some of those adjustments.
For the time being, though, fans may have to put up with another forgettable performance by one of the top players in the NBA, including Tatum.
