LAS VEGAS RAIDERS COACH HAS SUSPENDED A STAR PLAYER FOR…

Teams Show Interest in Ex-Raiders Wide Receiver as Five-Year Suspension Ends.

Forgotten NFL wide receiver reinstated by Roger Goodell five years after last game - The Mirror US

Before they acquired Davante Adams in a trade last year, the wide receiver position on the Las Vegas Raiders had seen some extremely bad luck. When former head coach Jon Gruden took over the team, he traded wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a third-round pick. This was one of his first major moves.

The NFL placed Bryant on indefinite leave during his rookie season with the Raiders for breaking the conditions of his conditional reinstatement following a prior suspension for breaking the league’s drug abuse policy. Bryant seems to be considering a return to the NFL after being out of it for almost five years.

Roger Goodell has reinstated the wide receiver, according to a post made by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero on November 4 on X, formerly Twitter. Furthermore, he’s “attracting interest from teams” regarding a possible return.

At this point in his career, Bryant’s chances of making a comeback are slim. Now thirty-one, his greatest quality was his quickness. After five years away from the NFL, it’s difficult to think he’ll still be that fast. Nevertheless, a team might be willing to give him a spot on the practice squad so they can check to see if he still has it.

It would be a low-risk move for a team to make, given that he has managed to avoid trouble for the past few years.

Los Angeles Raiders Needed a Change, According to Davante Adams
In other news, general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels were fired by the Raiders this week, marking a significant shift. After two humiliating losses in a row, the team’s record dropped to 3-5 and its future looked dire.

Despite appearing much happier since the news broke, Davante Adams has been frustrated throughout the season. Although he does not rejoice over Ziegler and McDaniels’ dismissals, he acknowledges that a shift was necessary.

During his media availability on November 2, Adams stated, “Don’t get it confused, it’s not a celebration that we have a new coach and that there have been changes made.” It was clearly time for some kind of change, in one way or another. Just to inject some fresh energy and give the team a little boost.

It’s more of an attitude that we’re attempting to adopt going forward in order to be as positive as we can, without using coercion. We can now categorically state that things have changed and that we have the chance to make changes. Our attitude is to enjoy ourselves and our time here in this building. It has felt like there is too much work.

As the Raiders’ temporary head coach, Antionio Pierce has nothing to lose. It is not his fault if the team performs poorly under his leadership because he did not assemble this group. He’ll receive a lot of credit for making that happen if the Raiders are fantastic or at the very least more competitive the rest of the season.

It’s hard to predict how the Raiders will appear under Pierce right now. He has never held a head coaching position in the NFL or at a college. He is obviously liked by the players, but that relationship can only carry a team so far. Undoubtedly, Pierce is playing with a team that is unlikely to be any worse than it has been.
