Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star linebacker Aaron Chiles, one of the best players at his position in the 2024 recruiting cycle, inked a contract with the Gators on Wednesday morning.
Chiles is ranked slightly higher on the industry-generated 247Sports Composite as the No. 92 overall player, No. 8 linebacker, and No. 1 player in his home state. Chiles is viewed by 247Sports as the No. 138 overall prospect, No. 13 linebacker, and No. 4 player in the state of Maryland.
According to reports, Chiles received scholarship offers from a number of schools, including Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Texas, and USC. However, in mid-June, he decided to attend Florida.
