Rangers Add Player Honors To An Already Outstanding 2023.
This past season was the most memorable in the Texas Rangers’ franchise history.
They won the World Series for the first time as a result of everything they have built over the years.
Their excellent players are one of the reasons for their success.
Over the past few years, they have done a fantastic job adding some impact players through free agency.
Many of their players ended up being named to the All-Star team and considered for the season’s final awards.
Six Rangers made it onto the All-MLB team in the end.
The Rangers reported that Adolis Garcia, Jonah Heim, Jordan Montgomery, and Nathan Eovaldi were selected to the Second Team All-MLB.
Corey Seager and Marcus Semien made the first team, though.
In the AL MVP voting, Semien and Seager both placed among the top three.
Each had a stellar year and was crucial to the Rangers’ World Series victory.
Perhaps the best player in the entire MLB postseason was Seager.
Before the 2022 season, he signed a lucrative contract with the Rangers, which he proved to be worth by winning the World Series MVP award.
Regarding Semien, his ability to play every day is what really sets him apart.
It is challenging to remain healthy and play regularly during a 162-game season.
However, in his two seasons with the Rangers, Semien has missed just one game.
Without a doubt, these Rangers players should all be selected to the All-MLB team.
Now that they can’t surprise anyone, it will be interesting to see what they do for an encore the following year.
