To improve their thin cornerback and special teams depth for Sunday, the Colts have made a roster change.
Ahead of their road game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts have added cornerback Chris Lammons from the practice squad to their 53-man roster:
The Colts are probably hoping to add to their depth at cornerback and on special teams, where backup Tony Brown was a regular mainstay, now that he’s been suspended for the duration of the season for “conduct detrimental to the team.”
Throughout his five years in the NFL, Lammons has been widely recognized for his ability to perform well on special teams when called upon.
So far this season, he has made two appearances for the Colts and has recorded two tackles.
