INDIANAPOLIS COLTS ONCE MORE FASCINATING DIVISIONAL.

What to Know About the NFL's AFC South and How to Bet It - InsideHook

Once seemingly the Jacksonville Jaguars’ to win, the AFC South is suddenly home to one of the NFL’s most fascinating divisional contests. With three games remaining, all three teams are shockingly deadlocked atop the division at 8-6, with the Jaguars having lost three straight and the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts continuing to win. Although any of the three might win the division, the Jaguars have the easiest remaining schedule and are still ahead based on head-to-head tiebreakers.

Despite how thrilling this race is developing, there are serious injuries on all three teams. The starting quarterbacks for Jacksonville and Houston, C.J. Stroud and Trevor Lawrence, are both sidelined by injuries, but Indianapolis might be the most hurt of them all.

A devastating set of injury bulletins have been sent to the Colts before of their Sunday game against the Atlanta Falcons. Zack Moss, who is enjoying a career year while Jonathan Taylor has battled ailments, was first reported to be sidelined for Sunday’s Christmas Eve matchup due to an arm injury.

In addition, Michael Pittman Jr., their best receiver, will miss the Atlanta game due to a concussion. During the victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, both players suffered their separate ailments. The game against the Falcons on Sunday will also be missed by several important players, including offensive tackle Braden Smith, linebacker Segun Olubi, and center Jack Anderson.
