Ohio State boasts the No. 4 recruiting class in the 2024 cycle, behind only Georgia, Alabama, and Miami, with four five-star recruits and twenty four-star players. The top 5 is completed by the Texas Longhorns.

However, not everyone agrees with the Buckeyes’ No. 4 ranking. Joel Klatt, a former Colorado quarterback and current college football analyst for Fox Sports, believes he has evidence to support Ohio State’s claim to have the best class following Early Signing Day.

Still, not everyone thinks the Buckeyes should be ranked No. 4. Former Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt, who now works as a college football analyst for Fox Sports, feels he has proof that Ohio State has the best class after early signing day.

In wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, the No. 1 overall pick in 2024, the Buckeyes also added five-star quarterback Air Noland and receiver Mylan Graham. The Bucks added five-star cornerback Aaron Scott and five-star EDGE Eddrick Houston to their defense.

Georgia and Ohio State had very different recruiting classes, with Georgia signing more players than Ohio State, which had just 21 recruits. Out of all the teams in the top 10 national rankings, that is tied for the fewest.
