THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS ASPIRATIONS ON DIVISIONAL TITLE J.

On the team’s savage performance, Colts coach said, “It wasn’t us.”

The Indianapolis Colts’ aspirations of winning the AFC South divisional title and a postseason berth were somewhat dashed this past weekend when they fell to the Atlanta Falcons 29-10. Additionally, it seems that the group thought the performance was somewhat out of the ordinary.

Shane Steichen, the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, made it apparent in a recent interview that the team’s performance on Sunday did not match his expectations for them.

Steichen stated on the Indianapolis Colts team website, “It wasn’t us.” You know what I mean? It wasn’t us. You wish not to witness it. You have to stop the bleeding, and once more, I have to do that for myself. Thus, we must make that correction.

Regardless of whether they win the division or secure a wild card spot, the Colts are still very much in the running for a postseason spot. However, the squad can no longer afford to lose any more games for the remainder of the season after this weekend’s setback.

This weekend, Indianapolis plays home to the Las Vegas Raiders. The AFC South championship game against the Houston Texans could decide the division.
