During his seven-year playing career, Udoka—who is currently the head coach of the Boston Celtics—played eight games for the New York Knicks.

After a seven-year playing career that included a brief stint with the New York Knicks, Udoka has been suspended indefinitely for breaking team policy. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the infraction involved “an intimate relationship with a female member of the franchise’s staff.” Udoka’s suspension will begin immediately, as stated by the Knicks’ Atlantic Division rival, and “a decision about his future will the Celtics beyond this season will be made at a later date.”

Udoka, who spent nine seasons as an assistant between San Antonio, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn, just concluded a successful 51-win season as the head coach of the Knicks. Before losing to the Golden State Warriors in six games in the NBA Finals, Boston won its first Eastern Conference title since 2010.
