SO SAD; AS Rajon Rondo Claims Injury in 2011 Finals Was Not an Accident…

Regarding the 2011 Heat vs. Celtics Finals series, Rajon Rondo has been open and honest about what transpired with Dwyane Wade.

Rondo’s elbow became tangled after he collided with Wade and fell during the third quarter of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

In an interview with the Boston Celtics podcast, Rondo stated, “That particular play, it was kind of a freak accident.” After that, we became teammates, so there isn’t any animosity, but I believe he intentionally shattered it. or made an attempt.

The former guard for the Boston Celtics continued by saying he didn’t believe Wade was even trying to play basketball.

“He attempted to make a play on the ball while I was playing, but he ended up making a play on my elbow,” Rondo remarked.

Rondo left the court following the injury, but he returned in the fourth quarter to help the C’s defeat the Heat 97-81. The diagnosis that followed was a dislocated elbow.

Rondo talked about what drove him to continue playing despite the discomfort.

Rondo said, “Adrenaline.” “The same as any other wound. It was a mindset for me. I returned to the changing area. They’re attempting to convince me not to play.

I think, “I have to go.” I’ll return later; in a few weeks, we can work this out.

Despite playing an incredible 38 minutes in Game 4 and an additional 30 in the Final, Rondo was unable to prevent Miami from dominating Boston.During his tenure in Boston, the guard was a major contributor to the team’s four All-Star teams and their several postseason appearances.

The Lakers’ 16-15 record indicates how far out of contention they are, so they have some priorities on their list before this season’s NBA trade deadline.

The Lakers are looking to improve their squad before the deadline of February 8th, and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN says on Threads that “speed and athleticism are certainly a priority.”

The purple and gold have been associated with two athletic guards, Dejounte Murray of Atlanta and Zach LaVine of the Bulls, according to several publications.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania disclosed on Tuesday that the Lakers were interested in trading for Dejounte Murray.

Young players with potential are what teams hoping to sign a contract with the Lakers will be seeking for, and Shams thinks Austin Reaves would be just that kind of player Teams will desire.

Teams will desire that player, according to Charania. Although the Lakers have made it clear that they have no intention of dealing Austin Reaves and that they do not want to, teams will still request such kinds of players.
