Tracker for the Florida Gators Transfer Portal Entering the 2024 Offseason

Florida’s Gainsville — Although the class of 2024 Early Signing Period, during which the Gators signed 17 high school prospects and five transfers overall, may be in the past, Florida is still keeping an eye on the NCAA transfer portal as it works to rebuild its roster in preparation for Billy Napier’s third season as head coach. Following Florida’s winter transfer portal activity as it approaches the 2024 offseason, All Gators will keep tabs on every player that joins and leaves the program.

After January 2, 2024, underclassmen will not be able to access the winter transfer portal. Nevertheless, schools will be permitted to keep hiring transfer prospects even after the portal closes.

WR Chimere Dike of Wisconsin: 44 games, 31 starts, 1,478 yards, nine touchdowns, and 97 receptions OT According to Pro Football Focus, Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson of San Diego State has made 38 appearances, 36 starts, six sacks allowed, and 1,187 pass-blocking repetitions in his career. DL Joey Slackman from Pennsylvania has made 28 appearances, 19 starts, 115 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, two forced fumbles, one blocked kick, and three pass breakups

Blinn College (JUCO) defensive lineman Brien Taylor had 13 appearances, 39 tackles, two sacks, 9.5 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. DB 42 games, 17 starts, 91 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, nine pass breakups, and two forced fumbles for Trikweze Bridges of Oregon

Despite preferring to be a walk-on, Mihalek started as Florida’s kicker for the 2023 season. During his time at UF, he was only given scholarships for the summer.

This list does not include offensive tackle Kiyaunta Goodwin, who left UF in July for personal reasons, even though he is still listed on the NCAA transfer portal. In January 2023, Goodwin moved from Kentucky to Florida, but he left the team before the season started.
