Injury Report for the New York Giants: Dexter Lawrence Is Not Named
There are just three players from the Giants listed on the injury report with designations.
Before the team’s home game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17, defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence of the New York Giants (hamstring) was not officially listed as injured.
Lawrence had a restricted amount of practice time on Thursday and Friday. Lawrence is expected to remain on a pitch count for the duration of the season, having been on one for the previous two weeks.
Three players were named on the final injury report for the Giants, down from the over a dozen listed on the report on Wednesday. Lawrence Cager, a tight end (groin), was given a questionable option. “Questionable” ratings were given to receiver Robinson (quad) and cornerback Deonte Banks (shoulder).
On Thursday and Friday, Banks and Robinson were both limited in their practices. In practice, Cager was also noted as a restricted participant.
In addition, the Giants declared defensive back Adoree’ Jackson (ankle), guard Justin Pugh (elbow/back), center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder), tight end Darren Waller (knee), and running back Saquon Barkley (elbow) as full participants at Friday’s practice.
On Thursday and Friday, Banks and Robinson were both limited in their practices. In practice, Cager was also noted as a restricted participant.
