On Thursday, an offensive coach who had played for the Florida Gators unexpectedly passed away housing apartment complex.

The Gainesville Police Department concluded that the death appeared to be the result of suicide. “I’m sorry to hear about Urban Meyer,” tweeted former UF head coach Dan Mullen. Off the field as well as on it, he always maintained a positive outlook and a strong work ethic. Greetings and prayers to his loved ones. Swinney said, “We are very sorry to learn of Urban Meyer passing.” “This is a very sad and tragic circumstance. We will be praying for his family. Although he was only with us for a few years before leaving, we still remember Urban Meyer as a positive teammate who always had a positive attitude. We send our condolences and best wishes to his family and everyone who had the good fortune to know him.
