Though it’s still less than two months after surgery, he believes that he will resume throwing by then following the ligament repair procedure on November 20. He believes it will take him a few more months to develop the grip strength necessary to lift weights.

During the second practice of the 2023 training camp, Burrow hurt his calf on a rollout, which required medical attention for the following 34 days. Burrow mentioned adjusting his offseason routine.

“Maybe the weeks leading up to training camp, maybe that’ll be something that I decide as we get closer depending on how my body’s feeling,” Burrow stated. “But we’ll take that a step at a time.”
