Chris Long, a former defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles, thinks that the struggling Eagles may benefit from having to play on the road during the playoffs. According to Green Light, Long stated, “I think playing the Bucs on the road is the best thing that could have happened to them.”

“Because I believe that the pressure would lead this team to urinate down their legs if they played at home. They go three and out the minute they start to get heckled. I don’t know whether they can defeat the Bucs, but I can’t escape the memory of them playing them the first time; they ran the ball for the final eight minutes of the game. Philadelphia had a 6-2 record at Lincoln Financial Field and a 5-4 record away from home as the 2023 regular season came to an end. During Week 3, the team triumphed on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on advantage of QB sneak: 'Every first down, it's first-and-9'In contrast to what they have shown on the field during the last six weeks of the season, the Eagles’ 25-11 victory in that game was the result of a balanced offensive and defensive performance. Throughout the game, Philadelphia gained 27 first downs and ran for 201 yards while limiting the Bucs to just 41 yards on the run and 174 total yards.

With a trip to the Divisional Round on the line, the Eagles will now return to Tampa Bay to play the Buccaneers in a Wild Card game.
