Signed by the Buffalo Bills Garrett McGhin, OL, and Ty Johnson.
To begin the week, the Buffalo Bills made a few roster changes.
The organization declared that running back Ty Johnson had signed a one-year contract. Last season, the 25-year-old was a member of the Jets. A 2019 sixth-round selection by the Lions, Johnson has amassed 925 career rushing yards, 668 career receiving yards, and 248 career return yards.
Garrett McGhin, an offensive tackle, was also signed by the to a one-year contract. After playing for the team in 2019 and 2020, McGhin is making his third stint in Buffalo. In 2019, as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina, he was first signed by the Bills. He has also played for the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, USFL’s New Jersey Generals, XFL’s Arlington Renegades, and Carolina Panthers.
McGhin becomes a member of the team following Tommy Doyle’s season-ending injuries. Doyle was placed on injured reserve along with defensive end Shane Ray.
LB DaShaun White was also signed by the team. He played for the Oklahoma Sooners for five years, from 2018 to 2022, starting 49 games throughout that time.
