On Monday Night Football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles will square off. The NFC South champions will be the focus of attention as it’s the final game of Super Wild Card Weekend. After two divisive season finales for the two teams, commentators are almost evenly divided on who will win the match.

The Buccaneers won five of their final six games as they concluded on a scorching run.

In their last six games, the Eagles suffered five losses. Both teams are suffering with quarterback problems, but the Bucs have far superior health throughout the rest of the field. If Tampa Bay wins at home, they have the chance to advance to the Divisional round, and they can do so by adhering to these guidelines.

Jalen Hurts’ throwing hand is missing a finger. DeVonta Smith is persevering despite an ankle injury. And A.J. Brown is out with a knee injury. In other words, it won’t be as risky as it usually is to pass. The Eagles will probably attempt to rely heavily on their run game early and frequently, especially in light of the possibility of bad weather.

The Eagles blasted the Bucs defense for 201 yards during their Week 3 meeting between these two clubs. With 130 yards, Swift led all backs, and the Eagles easily won 25–11. Shutting down the run will be crucial if Tampa Bay hopes to stay in this contest. If successful, they will produce the Eagles one-dimensional in an area they are suffering right now.

For the whole season, the Buccaneers failed to score on their opening drive with a touchdown. This week, that has to change. With Brown injured, the Eagles’ attack is still strong and capable of scoring points rapidly. The Bucs offense’s only remaining option is to fall behind early and have to play catch-up the entire time. Gaining quick points makes it possible for Tampa Bay’s defense to play its style.

Dave Canales, the offensive coordinator, needs to develop his play calling early on. To move the ball down the field, Baker Mayfield must execute and read the play perfectly. Canales will make an effort to start the ground game, but he is unable to place the team in circumstances where they are well behind the sticks. Everything begins up front, where the offensive line faces a formidable Philadelphia front seven and a relentless defensive line rotation.
