Cincinnati is experiencing an unexpected phenomena as the NFL playoffs play out. The Bengals’ fans, who are disappointed that their team did not qualify for the postseason, are taking solace in their rivals’ AFC North defeats. Both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns, who had high expectations for a lengthy postseason run, have seen their aspirations dashed early in the postseason.

The Cleveland Browns, who overcame a season marred by injuries and several quarterback changes, were soundly defeated by the Houston Texans, 45-14.
