Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN said, Duke Jr. will ink a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday afternoon.

According to Wojnarowski: “Todd Ramasar of LifeSports Agency informs ESPN that the San Antonio Spurs are signing G David Duke Jr. on a two-way contract. This season, Duke has been a member of the G League’s Delaware Blue Coats.”

Duke Jr. went undrafted out of Providence in 2021 and has played two seasons in the NBA (all with the Nets).

His career averages are 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 40.3% from the field and 20.4% from the three-point range in 45 regular season games

He has played in 11 G League games this season and is averaging 21.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest while shooting 42.9% from the field and 37.0% from the three-point range.

As for the Spurs, they are 3-20 in their first 23 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.

They are also in the middle of an 18-game losing streak.

On Friday evening, the Spurs will play their next game when they host Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Wednesday, the two teams met again in San Antonio, and the Lakers prevailed, 122-119.
