The top-seeded San Francisco 49ers stand in the way of the Detroit Lions’ historic first-ever Super Bowl appearance, which is just one victory away.

San Francisco will be defending their home field this time around in their second consecutive NFC Championship game. The Lions are notably 6-3 away from home this year.

Looking at the point spread, it’s important to note that the Niners covered the -7.5 spread an astounding 11 times during the regular season, while Detroit has only lost by eight points or more twice this year.

On Sunday night, coach Dan Campbell’s team will undoubtedly be motivated and prepared—probably not enough to win, but enough to keep it close.
