Gators’ first-year left tackle Anthony Richardson will be out for the second straight week as he recovers from an injury after being seen with a sling on his left arm prior to Florida’s last regular-season game against No. 5 Florida State on Saturday night.
Damieon, a sophomore redshirt Against the Seminoles, George Jr. is anticipated to replace Anthony at left tackle, while redshirt sophomore Kamryn Waites will take George’s usual position at right tackle. Lyndell Hudson II, a redshirt senior, will be the Gators’ swing tackle.
In his third regular season with the club, Barber—a redshirt sophomore—made nine starts for Florida. A year earlier, he had been named a Freshman All-American by College Football News for his work as UF’s swing tackle and spot starter in 2022.
Furthermore, rookie tight end Tony Livingston (upper body) and wide receiver Andy Jean (lower body) did not take part in the pregame warmups and will not be available for Florida.
With the exception of a possible bowl game, Jean ends his rookie campaign with the Gators having caught six catches for 97 yards while maintaining his redshirt. In seven appearances, Livingston caught one catch for four yards.
The following five players will not play for Florida versus Florida State in Week 13 as of Wednesday.
Freshman offensive tackle Bryce Lovett (lower body) was not included in the report, although he was seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot prior to the game, which prevented him from playing.
Due to injuries that terminated their seasons early, the Gators will also be without edge rusher Justus Boone (lower body), tight end Keon Zipperer (lower body), and running back Cam Carroll (lower body).
