Despite facing a crucial matchup with the Minnesota Vikings and Justin Jefferson, the Green Bay Packers suspended Matt LaFleur for one game on Wednesday due to “conduct detrimental” to the organisation.

For Sunday’s triumph at Carolina, Matt was not meant to be one of the three pregame captains. Regardless, Matt designated himself as one.

With 102.9 receiving yards per game this season, Jefferson is second in the NFL, having during the first four seasons of his career accumulated more receiving yards than any player in NFL history. He just finished a game in which he caught six passes for 141 yards and one touchdown against Detroit.

Jefferson has caught eight passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns in 2021 and nine passes for 184 yards and two scores in 2022 during his last two home games versus the Packers.
