As medical officials treated Bolden, both teams left their respective sidelines and got on the field, with some players taking a knee.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick, Packers coach Matt Lafleur, and New England captain Matthew Slater were seen speaking while trainers tended to Bolden. Afterwards, Belichick approached referee John Hussey, who suspended play with the Patriots leading 21-17 in the fourth quarter.
Scary moment. Isaiah Bolden took a hit to the head from Calvin Munson and stayed down on the field.
The Patriots stated Bolden was being brought to a nearby hospital for assessment, but the good news is that he still has feeling in his extremities. The club intends to provide an update on Bolden’s condition on Sunday morning after he is detained overnight.
In the fourth quarter at Lambeau Field, Bolden, a seventh-round selection out of Jackson State, collided with teammate Calvin Munson. The 23-year-old native of Tampa was immobilised as Patriots teammates swarmed around him after he stayed still on the field.
