Bernard Lee, the agent of Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler, issued a clear statement regarding his client’s future with the Heat organisation.
Butler is “never going anywhere,” according to Lee, who also predicted that the six-time All-Star will win a championship with the Heat.

Given that Butler has helped the team achieve enormous success since joining the Heat prior to the 2019–20 season, Heat supporters will be thrilled to learn that he intends to stay with the team for the long run.

In three of Butler’s four seasons with the Heat (this is his fifth season with the team), the Heat have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals and have twice made it to the NBA Finals.

Despite the fact that the Heat have not yet won a championship under Butler, they did, last season, make an unlikely run to the Finals as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. With an average of 26.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game over 22 games, Butler played a significant part in that.

Miami has not had a fantastic start to the season; prior to defeating the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, the squad had a significant losing run. Butler scored 31 points on 10 of 14 shots from the field to lead the way in that game.

With a 25-23 record, the Heat are now ranked seventh in the Eastern Conference. While some teams might find that worrisome, the Heat shown in the 2022–2023 season that they can succeed if they merely make it to the playoffs.

Although Kendrick Perkins may believe that Butler must depart Miami, it is evident that this is not the plan.In addition to Butler’s agent declaring that the star will remain with the Heat, Miami made a win-now trade this season to acquire Terry Rozier in exchange for veteran Kyle Lowry and a draft selection. To help this Heat squad win the coveted NBA championship, Rozier ought to provide Butler with further offensive support.

It’s difficult to see a situation in which the Heat would want to let Butler leave given how effectively he has performed for the team, particularly considering that the Heat were in the NBA Finals less than a year ago.
