Deadline deal sends former all-star to the Celtics in the proposed Bulls trade.

The Chicago Bulls are still actively searching for a good trade as the deadline for deals approaches.

According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times on February 7, head coach Billy Donovan stated that he and executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas talked briefly about the deadline. However, nothing is about to happen soon.

There aren’t many players on the Bulls roster who are valuable on their own. And in this fictitious deal, as reported by Bleacher Report, Andre Drummond would join the Boston Celtics.

The two-time All-Star would also be sent to a legitimate title contender squad.

On February 5, Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes said, “The Celtics already have Luke Kornet on the depth chart, but Drummond’s recent play shows he’d be an upgrade to arguably the East’s best team.” The Bulls should be lured in by two second-round picks, especially since Drummond’s contract expires at the end of this year.
